Layouts

Three designs, each built for a different kind of post. Here is what each one looks like, when to use it, and how many photos it needs.

Collage — 4 photos

Four photos arranged around a bold title band: two above, two below, separated by thin dividers and accent rules. The band background defaults to deep plum and can be set to any colour. Your site name prints at the bottom.

When to use it: roundups and listicles — “20 Best …”, recipe collections, room ideas, outfit roundups. Showing more photos means more chances that one of them stops the scroll.

Tips: use four photos that belong together; keep the title short so the band stays balanced; match the band colour to your brand.

Text Overlay — 1 photo

One full-bleed photo with a big, bold title over the lower half. The title’s black outline keeps it readable on any image, and your site name sits at the very bottom.

When to use it: when a single strong photo carries the pin — a hero dish, an outfit, a finished room, a before-and-after. If one image already tells the story, don’t dilute it with three more.

Tips: pick a bright photo with a calmer lower half so the title sits cleanly; if the photo is busy at the bottom, raise the stroke thickness.

Top Text — 1 photo

One full-bleed photo with the title band across the top (380px tall). The band carries the same styling as the Collage centre band, with accent rules above and below it, and your site name sits at the bottom centre, exactly like Text Overlay.

When to use it: when you want the title read first — for example when the photo’s lower half is busy, or when the headline itself is the hook. It also gives the pin a clean, editorial feel.

Tips: keep the title to a few lines so it fits the band comfortably; the band colour sets the whole mood of the pin.
